Summer Camp 2009

Troop 102 had a lot of fun at Camp Rockefeller. A lot of exercise was required to travel to and from various locations; lots of calories burned! There were some great campfires where everyone met and performed skits. Some useful classes were available that helped a lot of scouts be able to advance in rank and earn some merit badges. People who knew how to swim enjoyed the nice, clean pool that was available. The adult leaders of the troop constructed a nice wooden bridge that led to the nearest bathroom; it made it safer to walk there during the dark. It may have been hot, muggy, and exhausting, but it was worth it. It gave an opportunity for scouts to advance, earn totin' chips, firem'n chits, and merit badges. It also gave adult leaders opportunities to earn their own awards and licenses. It was a great campout.
